Stripper Shoes - The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
As a frequent strip club patron since about the mid 80’s, I’ve witnessed quite a change in the footwear of the average dancer.
Back in the day (mid 80’s) I’d say 90% of strippers wore the good old fashioned fuck me pumps. Then somewhere in the early 90’s I noticed a lot more girls wearing the retro 60’s-70’s era chunky platform shoes. It was all downhill from there.
Today probably 90% of the girls are wearing these hideous clear plastic platform mules. What the hell happened? Now I realize from talking to the girls that apparently these shoes are more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Even though they look like torture to me. I personally think these shoes look like shit. Total turn-off for the Leg Man. Wait until you see a girl in an ill fitted pair of these platforms with her toes curled over the edge like a vulture perched on a ledge. About the only thing worse in my opinion is the few girls who insist on dancing barefoot for some reason. Yikes!
Whatever happened to pumps? Just about ever guy I talk to agrees with me on this. So girls- get with the program and get back into some sexy shoes!
I have seen some sexy new platforms like the one I have posted above as “The Good”. They combine the sexiness of a pump with the sole of a platform. I’ve seen a few chicks in these and I think they’re hot.
Don’t ask about the ugly one. I just found the pic on a shoe site and posted it as an example of a shoe no woman should ever consider wearing. If you’re with a chick and you pass a shoe like this in a store window and she says “Ooooh, that’s cute!” dump her immediately.
